Culture
Winterberg and Willingen are beautiful cities. Moreover, Sauerland offers picturesque villages and castles as well as historical museums, such as the museum of the mining industry in Erzbergwerk Ramsbeck. Also worth a visit: the fun-fair Fort Fun and the gardens of Küstelberg.
Cross country skiing, skiing and snow boarding
The nearby Winterberg is one of the most important skiing areas of Germany, with no less than 57 ski runs and 100 snow-guaranteed days a year.

Mountain biking
Immediately past the borders of the park mountain bike tracks will lead you along the longest mountain bike arena of Germany: 39 tracks of in total 1200 km. The bikes can be rented at the Cycle Center, just like the accompanying equipment.

Water, forests and mountains are the characteristics of Sauerland. For the beach and water sports you go to the Edersee. In the wintertime Willingen and Winterberg offer ski runs for the most spoilt winter sports lover.
