Water sports on the Eemmeer

On the edge of De Eemhof, the extensive Eemmeer shimmers in the eyes of the water sports fanatics. There is even a yacht harbour. On the Eemmeer you can take part in various water sports. Such as:

  • Sailing
  • Surfing
  • Water skiing
  • Wakeboarding
  • Hiring a boat
  • Canoeing

Take your own boat to your holiday address? You can, because it's possible to hire moorings.

Opening times:


  • Yacht-basin: open year round.
  • Yacht-basin: 'De Boekanier' restaurant: open from April to September.
  • Watersports centre: open from April to September.

If you wish, you can rent a rowing boat or a small sail boat all year round, as long as there is no ice.
