There are also many activities provided for those who are not as brave. You can go on a pleasant walk in the wonderful surroundings of Winterberg, or you can relax during a horse-drawn carriage ride.

The start is a bit tough. But who perseveres will, during the archery course, learn how to hit a target like a true Robin Hood.

Your children will certainly want to give it a try: in a secured manner climbing up the climbing wall. They can choose from various levels of difficulty.
Winterberg and Willingen are beautiful cities. Moreover, Sauerland offers picturesque villages and castles as well as historical museums, such as the museum of the mining industry in Erzbergwerk Ramsbeck. Also worth a visit: the fun-fair Fort Fun and the gardens of Küstelberg.
The nearby Winterberg is one of the most important skiing areas of Germany, with no less than 57 ski runs and 100 snow-guaranteed days a year.

Mountain Golf is an ideal family activity. Everybody keeps his/her own score and the lowest score wins. If you want to make sure there will be room, it will be possible to already book this activity now.

Immediately past the borders of the park mountain bike tracks will lead you along the longest mountain bike arena of Germany: 39 tracks of in total 1200 km. The bikes can be rented at the Cycle Center, just like the accompanying equipment.

Water, forests and mountains are the characteristics of Sauerland. For the beach and water sports you go to the Edersee. In the wintertime Willingen and Winterberg offer ski runs for the most spoilt winter sports lover.

Tennis (indoor/outdoor), badminton, squash and table tennis belong to the national sports of Park Hochsauerland. Book your favourite sport in advance to be sure of a free court.

Are you not quite confident on your skis yet? Then this deal is perfect for you. This ski school is presented for the benefit of novice- and average skiers. There are 2 ski lessons per day, each lasting 1,5 hours. The ski school is situated 7 km from Park Hochsauerland near the Schlossberg ski lift at Kuestelberg.
