What is the new Planet Center Parcs app?

Planet Center Parcs is an application dedicated to customers who have booked a stay or are currently on holiday with us.

The purpose of our Planet Center Parcs application is to help you prepare your stay and to ensure your holiday is the best it can be while you are here, by providing access to all the information about your village.

We regularly update the application to ensure a better user experience and provide you with new features.

This new version boasts:
- A key new function for booking activities
- A new, more modern design
- New and simpler navigation
- Improved performance

What functions are available?

Planet Center Parcs aims to help our guests during or when preparing their stay.

The application thus provides the following functions:
- Activities: you can view the schedule and list of activities. Activities can only be booked online when logged in (before and during your stay)
- Catering: you can view information about our restaurants. You can book certain restaurants in our Belgian and Dutch villages (before and during your stay)
- Useful information: you can view information about the village, such as the opening times of its facilities, maps and contact details (before and during your stay)
- Services: services can only be booked online when logged in, before your stay
- Map of the village: available at all times
- Booking details: only available when logged in (before and after your stay)
- Check-in: only available when logged in, before your stay.
- Discounts on activities: only available when logged in and only during your stay.
You cannot book a stay via the application.

How can I download the application?

The application can be downloaded to smartphones from the Apple Store or Google Play. It is not available on Windows Phone. The application is free to download

It is not available in the United Kingdom. It is available in the following countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Tunisia. It will be available on Android and iOS tablets soon.

Which languages is the application available in?

The app is available in French, English, Dutch and German.

How do I log into the application?

To log in, use the username and password that you created for your “My Center Parcs” account when booking your holiday. If you still don’t have an account, you can register for one here: https://my.centerparcs.com/gb-en (excludes guests who booked with a tour operator, travel agency or their employer, and excludes owners)

Can I use the application without a username?

Though you cannot log into the application, you can still access the following information and functions:

- You can choose the village you wish to view, then, in each village:

- Activities: access the activity list and schedule, as well as the description and useful information for each activity
- Catering: access the list of restaurants and information about them (description, menu, opening times, etc.)
- Useful information: access information about the village, such as opening times of its facilities, maps and contact details (before and during your stay)
- Services: access the list of services available in your chosen village
- Map of the village

When and how can I book activities through the application?

Booking an activity implies that you have already reserved your cottage. Once logged in, you will be able to book one or several activities via the "YOUR VILLAGE" tab.

Booking an activity via the app is possible from six weeks prior to your stay and right up until the day before your departure.

Once in “YOUR VILLAGE”:  

1. Click on “ACTIVITIES” in order to visualise the activities available
2. Click on the desired activity
3. Click on “BOOKING”
4. Complete the required information
5. Add to basket
6. Choose “CONTINUE SHOPPING” or “PROCEED TO CHECKOUT”
7. To finalise your order, tick the “I accept the terms & conditions” box
8. Once your order has been finalised, select your method of payment
9. Add your payment details
10. Confirm the payment
11. Once the payment has been confirmed, a pop-up will acknowledge receipt

The app will generate a digital ticket that can be retrieved at any time in the “YOUR STAY” section by clicking on “YOUR TICKETS”. The ticket must be presented in order to participate in the activity.

Your purchase can be consulted in the “YOUR STAY” section of the app when signed in by clicking on “YOUR BOOKING”, as well as in your personal “MY CENTER PARCS” space.

When and how can I book services through the application?

The booking of related service(s) implies that you have already reserved your cottage. Once logged in, you can add one or more related service(s) to your accommodation by clicking on the "YOUR VILLAGE" tab.

The booking of related services via the app is possible from confirmation of your holiday booking right up until the day before arrival, subject to availability.

How do I book a related service prior to my stay?

Once in “YOUR VILLAGE”:

1. Click on “SERVICE”
2. Choose one of the following tabs: “OPTIONS”, “SERVICES” or “PREFERENCE”.
3. Click on the desired service
4. Complete the required information
5. Add to basket
6. Choose “CONTINUE SHOPPING” or “PROCEED TO CHECKOUT”
7. To finalise your order, tick the “I accept the terms & conditions” box
8. Once your order has been finalised, select your method of payment
9. Add your payment details
10. Confirm the payment
11. Once the payment has been confirmed, a pop-up will acknowledge receipt

Once payment for the related service(s) has been confirmed, CENTER PARCS will send you an email confirming the modification of your initial booking. CENTER PARCS is definitively committed to providing these services as soon as you receive this booking confirmation email.

Changes made to your initial booking can be consulted in the “YOUR STAY” section of the app when signed in by clicking on “YOUR BOOKING”, as well as in your personal “MY CENTER PARCS” space.

How can I get discount vouchers and how do I use them?

Discount vouchers for activities are only available once you have paid for an activity during your stay.

ALL OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS MUST BE MET TO BENEFIT FROM SPECIAL OFFERS VIA THE APP:
- To have downloaded the App  
- To be staying in one of the Group’s “Center Parcs” Villages
- To have booked the holiday via Center Parcs Website, directly at a Center Parcs Village, or with Center Parcs Customer Contact Center
- To have created a personal “MY CENTER PARCS” account at http://my.centerparcs.com

UNLOCKING SPECIAL OFFERS:
Each customer will be awarded a certain number of points upon arrival at the village, calculated using the value of their accommodation, length of stay, and supplementary services purchased when booking the holiday. The customer can earn more points throughout their stay by purchasing services in the Village.

These are collected towards levels that unlock special offers, which take the form of digital discount vouchers in the App, found in the “MY PLANET ADVANTAGES” section.

There are four different levels: the higher the level, the better the reward. Points are awarded using the following algorithm, and updated the day after the purchases are made in the Village:

Number of points = cost of accommodation (€ inc. tax)/10 + 2.5 x pre-booked services (€ inc. tax) + 10 x number of nights booked + 5 x amount spent on services at the Village (activities and services, excluding Spa and catering) (€ inc. tax)

Below are the level thresholds:

50 points < Level 0
50+ points Level 1
200+ points  Level 2
450+ points  Level 3
900+ points  Level 4

You also earn points by using the discount vouchers, but points are deducted for cancelling activities!
If the customer earns enough points to unlock the next level, then the vouchers for the lower level are lost.

On the day the holiday ends, all points are wiped. This means that they cannot be used on a later holiday or transferred to someone else.

TYPES OF REWARDS  
The App grants rewards depending on the customer’s points level and destination.  

The customer, the user of the App, can earn:
For Level 0: 30% off an activity of their choice, from a selection of leisure activities available at the Village.

For Level 1: 40% off an activity of their choice, from a selection of leisure activities available at the Village.

For Level 2: 50% off an activity of their choice, from a selection of leisure activities available at the Village.

For Level 3: 60% off an activity of their choice, from a selection of four leisure activities available at the Village.

The Village chooses the selection of activities in advance, and this may vary between Villages.

REDEEMING REWARDS:
Special Offers obtained via the App, in the form of digital discount vouchers, are exclusively valid during the stay.  

You can check by clicking on “MY DISCOUNTS” in the section  “MY STAY” , the Activities for which you’ve gained Special Offers.

In order to benefit from the Offer you must book the Activity via the App. Before proceeding to payment, you will have the opportunity whether or not to apply the discount. Should you decide to use the discount, it will then be automatically applied.   

Special Offers are non-cumulative and cannot be saved for later. All unused vouchers will be lost (no cancellations, non-refundable). Vouchers cannot be saved for a later stay or transferred to a third party.

When and how can I book restaurants through the application?

Booking a table in a restaurant is only possible for Center Parcs in Belgium and the Netherlands. From a list of available restaurants offering this service. This function is available in logged-in and logged-out mode.

Can I access the content without an Internet connection?

You need an internet connection the first time you use the app to log in and download as much content as possible. This content is then available offline. We recommend that you download the application before arriving to avoid any network problems. Please note that restaurant bookings (Belgium / Netherlands), service bookings, activity bookings and e-ticket creation all require an Internet connection.

How do I check in online?

To check in online, you need to log in and go to the "YOUR STAY" tab. Then click on "CHECK-IN" and fill in the required information. Once all the people staying in the cottage have been registered, you can generate your e-ticket, which will remain available in the application at all times.

Why can’t I generate my e-ticket?

You may not be able to generate an e-ticket for two reasons:

1) You have not filled in all the information about yourself and your fellow travellers. To do this, simply follow the steps detailed in the app.

2) You have not paid for your booking in full. You can rectify this by paying the balance in your "My Center Parcs" space:
https://my.centerparcs.fr/ or directly via the application, in the "YOUR VILLAGE" then "YOUR BOOKING" tabs.
