We recommend to visit the following places in the environment of Park Bostalsee
Trier & Co.Back to the list
Trier, in the Rhineland Palatinate, on the border with Saarland, is around 60 km from Bostalsee village and is THE destination for those with an interest in culture. Trier is older than any other city in Germany and has been a UNESCO world heritage site since 1986, with its Roman monuments, consisting of amphitheatres, Barbara spas, Imperial baths, a Constantine basilica, Porta Nigra, a roman bridge, an Igel column, a cathedral and a Church of our Lady.
Saarbrücken is the provincial capital of the Saarland and the political, economic and cultural centre. Numerous historical monuments, museums, theatres and memorials mean that the time just flies by. Saarbrücken is around 55 km from the Bostalsee village.
Not far from the village you will also be astounded by one of the best known sights of interest in the Saarland - the "Saarschleife" river loop: From a viewing point at 180 m, you have an unforgettable view of the forest rear of the mountains within the imposing river loop and the passing ferries.
